Constance "Connie" (Braunlin) Fink, age 70, of Thomson, Illinois, passed into the arms of God Saturday, March 8, 2025 at home after a brief illness. A funeral service will be held 12 noon Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Law Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, Illinois, with a visitation from 10am – 12noon, prior to the service. Burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery, Savanna.
She was the daughter of Herrmann Braunlin, the founder and longtime pastor of the Hawthorne Gospel Church in Hawthorne, NJ, and Lydia Caliandro Braunlin. Both preceded her in death. Connie grew up in Hawthorne, NJ, where her early years were shaped by faith, family, and a love of learning.
She pursued higher education at Covenant College in Chattanooga, TN (1972–1974) and later earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from The King's College in Briarcliff Manor, NY (1974–1976). She went on to serve at Moody Bible Institute, where she impacted the lives of 700 women over five years. It was there that she met her beloved
