She was born June 22, 1934, in Savanna, IL, The daughter of Edgar Earl and Ethel Eileen (Getty) Harry. Jane was a graduate of Savanna High School. She married the love of her life, Willam Meints Vogt on June 2, 1979, at Grace Episcopal Church, Clinton, IA. Bill died June 25, 2008. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Savanna, IL. Jane was the secretary to the principal at Savanna High School, Savanna, IL, for 29 years, retiring in 1989. She then worked for Sprint Telephone Co., Savanna, IL, for seven years. She also worked one year for John Deere Insurance in Moline, IL.
