Robert J. Woessner Born: May 1, 1937 Died: May 7, 2024 Robert J. "Bob" Woessner, 87 of Milledgeville died Tuesday May 7, 2024 at Rock River Hospice & Home. He was born on May 1, 1937 in Dixon, the son of John George and Dorothy Pearl (Manon) Woessner. He graduated from Milledgeville High School. He married Shirley Kness on July 1, 1958 in Princeton. Bob was a well respected lifelong farmer in the Milledgeville area. Bob was very instrumental in bringing football to Milledgeville High School. He was active in many community organizations and events. Bob served on the Farmer's Elevator Board, the Farm Service Board, the Carroll County Fair Board, and the Milledgeville State Bank Board. He was a past Jaycee and a past fireman for Milledgeville. Bob was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and had served on the church council.
